Pastor’s Notes

Hello!

With March comes the end of winter and the beginning of spring. I’m looking forward to putting the mittens away soon.

We have two events you won’t want to miss this month. The Health Fair sponsored by the University of Maryland School of Nursing is on Sunday, March 6. The Chick-fil-A fundraiser night is on Monday, March 7. Be sure to read about these events in this newsletter and bring the whole family to participate in them.

We have many special activities planned for your children this spring and summer. Please be sure to watch this newsletter for further information.

Health Fair

The University of Maryland School of Nursing will have its Health Fair at the Power House on Sunday, March 6, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. This event is for all ages so come and bring your friends and neighbors with you. Kids will receive church attendance credit if they come.

Be sure to ask you kids about these stories and see the crafts they’ll be making each week.

Camp Fundraiser Night
Monday, March 7
4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Chick-fil-A in Lansdowne (by Walmart)

Say “I’m with The Power House” when you place your order that night and Chick-fil-A will donate 20% of what you spend to our camp fund. See you there!

Easter

Easter comes late this year. We’ll celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Sunday, April 22. Please mark your calendars and watch next month’s newsletter for information about special activities that day.
