August 2011

Pastor’s Notes

Hello!

The month of August is a very busy time for kids’ activities at The Power House. Please be sure to note them so that your children don’t miss out.

Our Bible School is from August 16 – 19 and our annual School Supply Distribution is on August 28. More details about these events are featured in this newsletter.

SonRisers, our time with donuts before school on Wednesday morning, begins on August 31.

Of course, all our regular activities continue as scheduled as well. Your kids won’t want to miss the activities this month at Kids’ Church.

All these activities provide a great opportunity for you and your family to invite friends and neighbors to join you when you come to church. Don’t miss this chance to share Christ’s love and welcome others to the church.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. They are a great treasure for us.

In Christ,

Pastor Jeff Anderson

August’s Topics

For much of the summer we’ll be focusing on topics from the last chapter of Ephesians:

8/7 Salvation
8/14 Evangelism
8/21 God’s Word
8/28 School Supply Distribution

Be sure to ask you kids about these stories and see the crafts they’ll be making each week.

School Supply Distribution

Our annual School Supply Distribution will take place on Sunday, August 28, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Each child who wants supplies must be present and we cannot let people take supplies for kids who are not here. Bring your friends and neighbors and let’s start this school year out right!
