November 2011

Welcome to Fall!

This fall we have great things planned at the Power House. We hope that like the lights in your pumpkins, you have found ways to let God’s light shine for all to see!

Now that Halloween is over, we look forward to Thanksgiving and giving thanks for the many blessing that God gives us. Even when days are tough we are reminded of God’s love for each one of us.

This month at Kid’s Church, we are talking about each of our special gifts and how we can use those gifts to help others, and give thanks to God. No matter how big or small we are, each of us has special gifts. And the best way to give praise and thanks to God is to use those gifts to help others. We will also make fun crafts to help us remember these Scripture stories.

What gifts do you have, big or small, that can help your friends, family and neighbors know God? By being a reflection of God’s love and giving thanks we each help build the Kingdom of God Here and Now.

This Thanksgiving season, we give thanks for you and your families and look forward to giving praise and thanks together.

In Christ,

The Power House Youth Team
