Pastor’s Notes

Hello!

I trust you’re enjoying the warmer and sunny weather we’ve been having these past few days. Spring is finally here!

This spring we have many activities you’ll want to have the whole family share together.

First, Easter is Sunday, April 4. On the afternoon of Sunday, April 11, the City Health Department will offer free H1N1 flu shots at the church. Finally, at the end of the month we’ll be celebrating the church’s anniversary with a free festival on Saturday, April 24.

More details about each of these events are listed in this newsletter and/or on enclosed fliers. Please be sure mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on any of these events.

Thank you again for letting all of us at The Power House be a part of your kids’ lives. It is an honor to serve your family in this way.

Anniversary Festival
Don’t miss out! We’re having a FREE neighborhood festival to help celebrate the church’s 15th birthday. From 12 Noon – 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, come to the church for hot dogs, games, a moon bounce, and much, much more. It’s all FREE as our way of saying “thank you” for letting The Power House be a part of this community. See the enclosed flier for additional information.

H1N1 Flu Shots
The Baltimore City Health Department will be at The Power House on Sunday, April 11, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. offering FREE H1N1 Flu Shots. These are available for adults and for children if accompanied by a parent. Stay healthy with this free shot provided by the City.
