Pastor’s Notes
Hello!
Happy New Year! As we reflect on 2009 we see so many changes that have taken place.
The kids at church have grown. They’ve gotten physically bigger and more mature. They’ve grown in their understanding of and relationship with God. They’ve also brought friends to church which has helped the group grow as well.
As we look to 2010 so many new things await us. Summer camp is coming for some of the older kids while Bible School will be for the younger ones. We’ll have a variety of activities throughout the year to help celebrate what God is doing.
This is the time of year when people make commitments. I want to thank you for your and your child’s commitment to growth at Kids’ Church during 2009 and hope that you will extend that commitment through 2010.
May 2010 bring blessings to you and your families.
In Christ,
Pastor Jeff Anderson

With the New Year comes a new section of the Bible for study at Kids’ Church:
1/2 Joshua at Jericho

1/17 A Land of Milk and Honey
1/24 Deborah
1/31 Gideon
Be sure to ask you kids about these stories and see the crafts they’ll be making each week.

Did You Know?????
Did you know that 2010 marks 15 years that The Power House has been in Pigtown? We’ve been having Kids’ Church since the beginning when we were on the corner of Sargeant and Carey streets. Look for a celebration of our anniversary in April.

Big Game Party
Football’s biggest game is on Sunday, February 7, at 6:00 p.m. Once again this year, The Power House will be providing a “family friendly” atmosphere for the event. Come see the Big Game projected on the wall inside the church. The screen size will be nearly 20 feet tall! We’ll have snacks for sale at very reasonable prices with all monies going to help send kids to camp next summer. Children must be accompanied by an adult for this event so bring the whole family and enjoy the game together!
